A. Account & Profile Information

• User Identity: Display name, email address, profile picture URL, and unique User ID (UID) when you authenticate via Google Sign-In or Firebase Authentication.
• Contact / Group Identifiers: Member names or email aliases provided for split bill notes and expense settlement logs.

B. User-Generated Data & Content

• Notes & Checklists: Rich text notes, titles, categorized tags, checklists, and pinned notes.
• Expense & Financial Tracking: Transaction amounts, custom category labels, income/expense entries, payment dates, and analytics statistics.
• Split Bill Records: Shared bill titles, total amounts, participant shares, payment status, and generated invitation tokens.
• Private Vault: Confidential notes secured with local PIN encryption inside your private safe.

C. Push Notification Tokens & Device Identifiers

• FCM Device Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) registration tokens to deliver timely daily reminders, split bill alerts, festival greetings, and critical app announcements.
• Device Metrics: Operating system version, device model, and network state for stability, crash diagnostics, and performance optimization.

2. Advertising & Google AdMob Disclosure

To support continuous development, Smart NoteFusion integrates Google AdMob (provided by Google LLC) to display advertisements after your initial promotional free trial period.

A. Data Collected by Advertising Partners

Google AdMob may automatically collect and process certain non-personally identifiable data to serve relevant ads, prevent ad fraud, and calculate metrics:

• Google Advertising ID (GAID / IDFA): A unique, user-resettable identifier for advertising.
• IP Address & Approximate Location: Used for regional ad targeting and fraud prevention.
• Ad Interaction Data: Views, clicks, and impressions.
• Diagnostic & Performance Data: Crash logs and app responsiveness metrics related to ad SDK performance.

B. User Ad Controls & Opt-Out

You have full control over personalized advertising on your Android device:

• You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads anytime via Android Settings → Google → Ads → Delete Advertising ID / Reset Advertising ID.

3. Push Notifications & Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)

With your explicit notification permission, we send push notifications to enhance your productivity:

• Daily Productivity & Expense Reminders: Morning inspiration notes, evening daily recap reminders, and daily expense recording reminders.
• Community & Festival Greetings: Occasional festival greetings (e.g., Diwali, New Year, Holi) and special app announcements.
• Direct Account Alerts: Targeted notices regarding your account status or important feature upgrades.

You can enable, customize, or disable push notifications at any time directly through your device's Settings → Apps → Smart NoteFusion → Notifications or within the App settings.

4. How We Use Your Information

• To synchronize and maintain your notes, categories, and split bills securely across all your devices.
• To perform instant group expense calculations and generate split settlement summaries.
• To deliver scheduled alarms, local calendar alerts, and dynamic daily motivational notes.
• To detect, investigate, and prevent security breaches, abuse, or unauthorized app usage.

5. Third-Party Service Providers

We do NOT sell, lease, rent, or trade your personal data to any data brokers or third parties.

We work exclusively with industry-standard, secure service providers:

• Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Messaging): For encrypted database storage, real-time sync, and notification dispatch. (Firebase Privacy Policy)

6. Data Storage & Security

We implement multi-layered industry-standard safeguards to protect your personal data:

• Encryption in Transit: All communications between the App and Firebase servers are encrypted using TLS 1.3 / SSL.
• Encryption at Rest: Cloud Firestore databases use 256-bit AES encryption at rest.
• Local Sandbox Security: Data cached on your device is protected within the Android application sandbox.

7. User Rights & Data Deletion

You have full ownership and authority over your personal information:

• Access & Modification: You can edit, update, or delete any note, expense log, or split bill anytime directly in the App.
• Account Deletion: You have the right to request complete deletion of your account and all associated Firestore records. Upon request, all your stored notes, expenses, and tokens will be permanently purged within 30 days.

8. Children's Privacy

Smart NoteFusion is intended for general audiences and does not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under the age of 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data without parental consent, please contact us immediately for prompt deletion.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app upgrades, legal regulations, or new features. Any updates will be published on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the App following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
